Xenon replica question

Any of you on here familiar with xenon replicas?

I'm buying some from someone and he says the DRLs need to be wired.
This doesn't make sense to me because the aftermarket headlights I have currently require no such thing.
Here is the pic of the wires in question..
Wth are these for?

Those wires look like they're for the low beam bulb's prongs.
