I believe Shift on willingdon does apr tuning aswell. No problems with RPI but it did take them more than an hour to flash a file and install a boost sensor last week. Should have been a 30 min job. O well, no problems so far, everything is running great:wosschilder980:

I think they lost the license, hence rpi being the only one now. But I would call shift and ask them for a real answer.

That is correct, they had some arguments and stopped carrying APR.

Hey guys; don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'm trying to find a local dealer to do my intake manifold replacement under warranty – I got the P2015 code recently. Cap VW in North Van, my local dealer, has said that because my car has been flagged as tuned by VW (I'm APR stage 1), replacing the intake will NOT be covered by warranty and I'll have to pay the $1011.48 CAD myself. facepalm.jpg

Have any of you who are tuned had your intake manifold replaced yet? If so, was the work covered under warranty? Can you tell me what dealer did it for you?

From what I've read so far, it seems only guys out east and in the states are able to get this done under warranty regardless of their tunes.

From what I know, any modification that correlates to the item that is broken, they will not cover it.

I have suspension mods but the dealer covered my engine and warrantied no problem.

Even if the dealer flashed the car, any flash means your engine and transmission warranty is void.

That's all I know :(

Tomorrow evening at 5PM. Tim Horton's on 120th Street. I believe the addy is 10390 120th St, but am waiting to hear for confirmation.
