APR Stage 1 vs Stock 91 octane Dyno

I tried to setup a dyno day in SoCal but doesn't seem like anyone except 1 other person was really interested in dynoing their car. So I just gave in this afternoon gave a call to the local Nissan Z shop which has a Dynojet. I could've gone to another shop that had a Dyno Dynamics or a Mustang Dyno but I'm more familiar with the Dynojet...

This was the first shop I had seen a female working on cars! Best of all she wasn't manly looking...

Onto the dyno, took the car in around 5:30PM and it was 95 degrees! Car was filled up with Premium Grade California Horse Piss, I mean 91 Octane from Shell.

The guys at the shop were laughing at how the engine was bouncing around in the bay... I guess I should add full BSH/BFI mounts to my list... Main thing in the graph below is the delta...

And the numbers are... :D

APR Stage 1 with BSH Intake
Max WHP: 227
Max WTQ: 254

Stock with BSH Intake
Max WHP: 205
Max WTQ: 221

Max Delta WHP: 31
Max Delta WTQ: 38

Those are good stock numbers. So then VW's 200/207 is conservative?

So anyone dynoed a stock motor on only 91 octane?? APR only lists a 93 on their website....

Why don't you be the first? Help out the GTI community... Doesn't cost more than $100

Don't I wish I could! After dropping a couple grand into my house for some unexpected repairs any extra money will just go directly to making the car faster!

lol why? he didn't do a dyno that isolated the effect of the bsh intake. the only thing he isolated was the effect of stage 1.
because i think the intake amplified the effect stage 1 makes...

Thanks. Great info. Good to see the 31/38 wheel number increases.
