Burlington VW Dealership messed up horribly during oil change
Oil fill spot metal was pushed inside the engine, was touching the camshaft.
I always check up their work after n had a bit of a rattle during drive, turned around but service dept was closed so.
Was able to pull the piece out. Is it broken in pieces? Is there pieces inside my engine?
Can someone look at this part n look at ur oil fill spot and compare? Contacting vw usa n dealer first thing tmrw
Update: burlington did first camshaft repair incorrectly - bent valve rocker
Update: 1 week after 2nd camshaft car broke down: cause broken camshaft. Tune was discovered - dealer blames the tune.
Update: katie fox is contacted by xzt123 - (golfmk6 member) - investigation starts.
Update: VWoA agreed to put in remanufactured head -
Update: cylinder head is put in incorrectly "out of time" - engine done.
update: 7/12/12- Vehicle being towed to Hamilton VW to get a new engine put in, paid by i dunno whom but not me.. VWoa or Burlington VW. Dont care at this point.
Update: 7/18/12 - new engine in - car runs great. Kudos to hamilton vw, highly recommended
