BSH RSB failure

I was at the track on Friday for a race and during practice/qualifying the car felt awful. I had just installed front camber plates and gave the car a ton of camber so I figured it was that change that was causing the car to drive strangely.

I ended up starting the race and I was fighting the car every corner trying to get it to turn and do what I wanted it to. About 3/4 of the way through the race I came in frustrated with how the car was handling, decided it wasn't worth finishing.

Until today I believed it was my camber settings, and I'm sure they also need work however I poked my head under my car this morning and I saw this.... which explains why the car wasn't rotating at all.



It has been raining here lately so there is some surface rust where the break happened...

Time to switch up the sway bar for something that isn't going to break.

Get Neuspeed Race bars or Hotchkis/APR.

Neuspeed makes products specifically for HOnda/VAG and Minis.

They make awesome products. I've had them on Hondas as well.

Their suspension is whatevers but their other products are constructed extremely well.

A sway bar should not snap!

An endlink is a different story....

Don't you just love the problems associated with tracking! :mad0259:

I think if I were you, I'd rather just buy a better RSB than get a replacement. Unless it was just out of principle

Talked to Brad from BSH, since I purchased it second hand there is nothing he can do for me in terms of warranty.

So hotchkis it is. No more BSH products for me.
