Why, oh why, can't we get some sort of release date? VW sure does a great job of making us drool and keep us on the edge of our seats. I am have a hard time waiting for this car... I want it so bad! Is anyone else in the same boat?

Does anyone know a release date for U.S. "Fall" is such a broad, generic term. I'm needing a new car soon and have been offfered a great deal on a 2009 WRX ($1,000 below invoice) which puts it into GTI price range. I'm just not sure what to do because I love the GTI more do to it's...
