My thoughts as well
Not 100%...I know there was some piston slap in #4, maybe some broken rings or lands. I suspect the rod let go. There's oil and metal fragments near both the front and the rear but I can't find an obvious hole save the one picture.
Any ideas on what the copper strands are? Do compacted graphite iron blocks use some sort of reinforcing mesh?

test drive it, inspect it, put it on the hoist, smell it, feel it, look at all the parts, inside/out. Do an entire inspection and ask for carfax, and how many owners, looks abused to me but its hard to rule out by looking at pictures...
