I'm looking for a helping hand with getting some springs installed. Know anyone? I'm not comfortable doing it myself. I'll throw in beer/drinks/food whatever...

I did not do it myself but the trick is to get the wire that goes to the ABS fuse and splice it in order to get a switch that will enable you to "fake" a fuse defect. This switch can be bought at the dealer. Mine even offered to install it, but it can be done by any mechanic. The switch I ordered was the Sport/comfort that goes on the electronic suspension of the Passat. This way it fits perfectly in the center console just right of the ESP switch.
