Has anyone had this problem? The blower motor resistor melted part of the hvac case on my 2011 VW Golf base model where it snaps into place. Is there a safe workaround to install a new resistor to keep it in place, or am I looking at replacing the entire case as well? See the picture for my issue. Thanks!
