Hi all,
I have a question regarding the new GTI's rear lights. I just bought me a new GTI in the US with obviously the US specs.
Now, i'm intending to import this car to Europe somewhere in 2010. But, in Europe the law requires me to have taillights that includes a foglight. I've seen some websites that sell aftermarket EURO taillight sets with this option inside, and also the euro lightswitches (eg. Oemplus)
My question, does anyone know if the US spec GTI has the pre-fit wiring in the car, so that after installing the euro units it can be reprogrammed with VAG-com? None of the guys at the VW dealer could tell for sure.
