So has anyone with a MK6 2.0 TDI (stage 1) had any HP gains from gutting their DPF?

Ok thankyou. So id need the garage or wherever to "tune" it first then? Also what would be the best way forward to avoid the CEL issues? ThanksYou will have to tune it to delete the DPF, whether you "gut" it or remove it is the same. And yes you will get gains in power from the tune.
If you just yank the guts out of the DPF you will get CELs just like removing a cat and probably some decent issues from the car still running regen cycles but there not being anything to regen. Plus pretty sure the ECU would throw a hissy fit thinking something wasn't working right and actually cut power.
