New clutch chatter after new mounts installed

Hi all,

2014 GTi, has a Southbend stage 2 daily and I just installed the cts upgraded engine and tranny mounts. Still have the stock pendulum mount in. Had 150k on the stock ones. I definitely get what I assume is some clutch chatter now when engaging the clutch but only at really low rpms, basically just above stalling. If use slightly more rpm when engaging the clutch from a stop it doesn’t make that sound.

I expected some more noise/vibrations but not exactly this. Just wondering if this is normal?

Yeah that can be normal.

It's normal. It'll reduce slightly as the mounts break in

Cool, thanks for the replies. I assume I should also go ahead d do the pendulum mount/bushings at some point soon also. Is there a recommended replacement that is similar to stock vibrations level in the cabin? In my mk4 I had I think I went too stiff when I replaced it and I wasn’t a fan.
