Tracking device??

Hello!
I recently found this wired mess under my dash near the obd port.
There is a very tiny black box like device zip tied that I can't readily reach yet but may take it in to a mechanic to see what it is.
Could this be a tracker?
I've suspected my roommate/ co signer of this before.
Any

help with this would be awesome!

Are you able to take a pic of the device? There are a couple of honest car modifications that actually look how you're describing -- JB4, Polar FIS, and bass controllers for audio systems come to mind. Of course, that would only be the case if you aren't the first owner.

Plenty of audio accesories, such as steering wheel controls, use similar things. Like Torga said, we need to see the device, a rats nest of wires means absolutely nothing.

Lol paranoid much? Tracking device is probably least likely answer. Possibly part of some dealer installed security system is more likely imo
