Does anybody know if there's a vag-com mod so that you can use the MFD while driving?

The MFD works while driving.. only thing that doesn't work is changing the settings etc.
keep your eyes on the road

That's what I'm looking for, to be able to get in the settings menu. One eye on the road, other on the MFD, lol.

Nobody has elaborated on the auto lock question at the beginning of this thread. What does auto lock mean?

^ That's a Europe thing. In North America we have sensors in each wheel, at the valve stem, to measure the air pressure.

This is not entirely true. It depends on your car. I have the indirect sensors that are located on the ABS unit. The esiest way to determine if your TMPS is on the brakes or in the wheel is by looking at your wheels valve stem. If its rubber your sensors are part of your breaking system. If the valve stem is metal your sensors are in each tire. I live in VA and have indirect sensors.

Indirect vs Direct.

I'm pretty sure I enabled that option on mine. You don't need a rain sensor. Just go through the VCDS and there should be an option. I'll check later and update if it's possible.

You can "enable it" but it will not actually open your sunroof unless the rain sensor is installed in your car.

Wow, you sure dug that one up pretty good.

Allow me to clarify my statement from 1.5 years ago...

2010 USA models had direct TPMS - i.e. sensors in each valve stem.
2011 and onward use indirect TPMS

But the 2010 models still have the indirect tpms ability. I just activated mine last night. The key is to turn the original direct tpms module off and then turn the indirect on.

I just did that. Disabled the 65-Tire Pressure and enabled the Tire Pressure Management System in the ABS Brakes section. However, I get Faults/Malfunctions when I do an autoscan:

Yeah, I've tried that. I still get the CAN-Gateway malfunction error. I assume it's okay. I just need reassurance.

I don't think that has anything to do with the tpms. Try resetting everything to spec and redo. Did you autoscan before changing anything?

hello !

I've got a problem.. After installing my R Led tails, and coding lights by vagcom, my drl's are off. Could anyone tell me how turn them back on? I've got 2010 TDI with halogens.
I've checked byte 15 and here how it looks: photo
