I ordered my wheels yesterday. VMR 19x8.5 V701s in Gunmetal! Now trying to find tires. The V12 EVO are national backorder. So I am hoping I can get this $124 each price for the Continental Tires DW.

225/35-19s. Continental DW. See here. Discount matched them locally, but they had to add the shipping to it and taxes. But still great tire for the price.

Wow I was lucky to get them for $128 a tire when I did. They went up to 192 now.

So I finally got around to post some pics of my 701's gunmetal 18x8.5 on Hankook's 225/40/18 sitting on DG DSG springs (I have a manual). I think I might be the first to do so with DSG springs on a manual. I wasn't looking for big drop at all, just enough to get rid of some of the nasty 4x4 wheel gap!

I was in the neighborhood near a great spot in SF so I pulled out the DSLR and started to snap away. Here's a summary of what I took:
