I saw your question on the LED Tails Group Buy thread (I'm down for a set as well). If you're looking for folks in the Halifax area with vagcom, here's a handy list:

No idea if any of them have coded for LED tails before, but the impression I get is it's a very simple process. And the actual installation of the lights is incredibly easy.
Not sure if you're familiar with the CustomObsessions forum, but it's very popular amongst Atlantic Canadian VW fans. Probably a younger crowd than on here, and not many folks on there have Mk6's, but still worth checking out.
