Coolant low?

So the coolant light comes on twice today.

Car is only at 11,000 miles.

I check the bottle under the hood and in fact the level is way below the "low" line.

How often are you guys filling up the coolant?

This the stuff to fill with?

Make sure your waterpump isn't leaking...

Sounds like you have a leak, hombre.

Bad water pump, connection, or hose. The coolant you need is on the top of the reservoir.

My water pump broke around 17k miles and got it replaced under warranty

This stuff works, I use it in my car. Make sure you mix it with distilled water.

My coolant light came on at 6k miles, no visible signs of leaks.

Get it checked out. I had leak in the radiator at 18k, replaced under warranty.

You need to find out where your coolant is going so that it doesn't develop into a problem that leaves you stranded.

weird, one of the other local guys just had a radiator leak too...

i had my water pump failed at 9800 miles, there was leak under the radiator that means you have the same problem, i still had some coolant in the reservoir but way low from mininum line, i filled cold water bc the store where they have g12 coolant in my area was closed and needed the car the next day, so drove 4 miles to the dealership.

this is a common problem for our cars. i reccomend not to drive anywhere but to the dealership unless its far away. i got mine taken care of under warranty and spend the night in the dealership

Just had my water pump replace 3 days ago at 8500. Take it to the the dealer

Since you have OEM coolant in the car already I would stick with that - G13 would be what you need to order.

Noticed coolant residue below the radiator in the engine bay.

Took it to the dealer and had the water pump replaced under warranty.

Only 11,000 miles on the odometer.
