MK7 GTI Lighting Lap time

I guess all that mk7 jazz was for nothing...

Disappointing. I keep hearing how much better the chassis and dynamics are in the mk7. Maybe it's the tires? This isn't the first time I've heard of potenza's getting mushy when hot.

Also, curious what the PP can do for that time.

Is this with PP? I recall another review where PP made a big difference on terms of lap times and was after than FoST. I'll post it if I find it.

How come every car mag has been reviewing PP GTI's but when it comes to a track test, VW gives them a non pp model? Even in other C&D comparos they used a pp GTI.

the mk7 gti has a better feeling steering rack, better power...yea can't put it down efficiently on a track but overall driving experience on the streets should be appreciatied
