Because I'm financially dependent on him and if my mom doesn't want me to have an enjoyable car then he will put his foot down. He has in the past though I've gotten better at negotiating with him and I'm determined to get something enjoyable, though I'm not opposed to a slow car. I want to drive a 2002 BMW to see how I like those. Could be a fun slow option.

Graves, if Miatas aren't your thing, have you considered an S2000? Preston adores his. For as much shit as I give him about his fanboism, it's a great car. Quick and reliable and its design has held up well over the years.
