S2k or GTI , What do you guys think?

I have 07 GTI

Oneday, I saw s2k, and I am distracted to S2k... :drool:

I used to don't like japanese car, though

It is really like sport car or racing car. ( I know it's sport car )

Only one that I don't satisfy about GTI is looking. I miss sport car.

I know chipped GTI is faster than S2k.

but, S2k also has problem..

one thing is Im tall, so I need more head room. my hair reach top of car.

the other thing is S2k could be changed because it may came out in 2000.

its just not for me 1 b/c theyre a bunch more than the gti...not much quicker, and no backseat or real room to carry anything with you...when i went looking for a Si to test, they didnt have any and he tried to intrest me in an s2k and they list at like 27k or so...gti ftw

The S2K is a very nice car but I still keep preferring the GTI.

depends what you want, a real sports car which s2k is suppose to be 1 of the best rated vs z4 or boxster category or a hot hatch like a gti but as more amentities probably and more of a "daily driver"

GTi definantly.

The idea and look of convertibles just doesn't sit well with me.

there we go, I just gave u a very well reasoned arguement. Decision made.

They are two completely different cars which makes it hard to make comparisons.

The GTI is definitely more practical in terms of transporting people and objects but the S2K is a more focused drivers car.

You have to weigh up the pros and cons of each. Sorry, not much help :frown:

GTI = Practicality with a sport touch
S2K = Fun Sports car with No practicality

With the GTI, you get a little bit of both...

gti daily, s2k, not so daily. but they are great track cars.

I'm in between 6'3" and 6'4" and the S2K was way to small for me too. So that pretty much excluded that car for me. Then I went and sat in the Z4 Roadster and the fit was much better. If you're considering such a car, I'd take a look at the Z4 if I was you. Too bad I need 4 seats.

My friend has Z4, and we often compared w/ GTI and Z4.. but Z4 is such a slow. I really prefer GTI than Z4, and I agree w/ u; z4 has much more headroom than s2k.

but, s2k is something different...
