1. BSH TrueSeal *(Bottom Left)

2. APR Carbonio *(Bottom Right)


I wanna put stage1 intake on my bone stock gti.
Which one would you pick??btw, I prefer louder ones

Carbonio gets my vote, but the BSH cone will probably be louder.

I wonder if BSH would make harmonic noises like on the MK5s .
They said dv relocation kit will fix the harmonic(Whistle). But,
since ours have longer honeycomb grill width than the MK5s(different front design).
Hope this will resolve the whistlin problem???
anyways, I m waitin on BSH to arrive next week.
so, i will let u guys know after havin it installed!

Installed my APR intake yesterday. I really cant say that it makes the car much louder, even when in neutral with high revs. It does look good though, very clean.

There is a lot of discussion about noise in this thread, what about power?

I know that the Mazdaspeed intake that you can buy for the 'speed3 adds 20+ HP (independant dyno test by a magazine) to that motor; lot of bang for the buck and it will not void the warranty if installed by a dealer

Any tests on these intakes? I could make the car noisier without spending much if it was noise I was looking for.
