Doesn't really show much of the emblem if you ask me. Here I'll help you out:

It's called the VW KDF Logo

Just I little history on that logo - It was based on the German Labor Fronts Union logo.

Per Wikipedia: "The German Labour Front (German: Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF) was the National Socialist trade union organisation which replaced the various trade unions of the Weimar Republic because of rampant corruption in the existing unions, after Adolf Hitler's rise to power."

As to whether it had ties to Hitler himself that I do not know but I do know it had ties to the Socialist movement at that time.
From my perspective I could care less about it's meaning (or supposed meaning) but I do like it from an artistic & aesthetic viewpoint.

A different rendering though this one clearly has the Swastika symbolism implemented into it. Historically the swastika was used in many cultures (Hinduism, Native Americans, Jainism, Iran, Hinduism, Greeks etc. etc) but being that this is a VW & it uses a swastika, I think we can gather its actual meaning & ties.

I like the middle and right hand version. Not a fan of the left (outline of the wolf instead of solid wolf).

GTI logo? You could do a "fast" or a "rabbit" in the center....:iono:

Here's a fast example you could use:

YES!!! that's what I was gonna ask for once I found out the price having a fast would be sick if you could make the ones to cover up the steering wheel would be sick!!

Updated first post

I've updated the first post.

So my plan is to get matt-mk6's emblem finished first and then do a short (5 piece) production run to try to work out any problems and get a better idea of the amount of time I'll need to spend infront of a machine. Once I'm done with matt-mk6's emblem, I'm going to PM the members 2-6 on the first list with a price. If any of them op-out I'll offer it to the next member(s) on the list.

You can continue to post/send me your ideas/requests and I will let you know if it is something I can work with.

Now with all this being said, I have this week off of work and wont be making any progress with these until next week. My work load, once I return, will determine the amount of time I am able to work on the emblems.

Yup. To be more exact it is a Golden Eagle, the national bird of Germany. It also appears in many forms on the German coat-of-arms.

To make the look of this one more "German-authentic", you might want to have the head facing the other direction.

Yeah I noticed that and will be changing that when I make them for sale.

Autobot or Decepticon would be kind of neat too..

I did an Autobot on my last car when the emblem fell out. Looked sweet and was a lot less work then making emblem for this car!

I think this would be great on the rear hatch.

So if anyone knows someone looking to get rid of theirs or know where to get a rear hatch release assembly for dirt cheap, let me know. Only looking to spend like $50 for it.

Personally i think this would looks sweet on the back hatch. Shave the hatch pop and put this emblem in its place.
