You can bend the metal shield out with a small flathead screwdriver then bend it back to normal with your hands when you put the new light in. At least that's what I was able to do.

btw I was 1450 like on the fb page. :B

I couldn't even get the screwdriver under the back tabs. Too tight!

It depends when you ordered, we shipped out a lot of LED kits today.

Installed my set last weekend. They work great!. Auto dimming footwells are smooth. Didn't install the vanity lights though as they were just too bright. :thumbup:
