40 degrees this morning, still haven't seen the dreaded 39 yet.

I need to order some vinyl number panels and numbers for the Z06 on the track. Anyone have any input on foreground/background colors?

Background color options: Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, Silver

Number/letter color options: Black, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, 3 different Blues, Purple, Pink, Green, Teal, Gold, Silver, Neon pink/orange/yellow/green

Well, generally you want your number to be visible on-track, so I'd probably suggest something with a lot of contrast.

Neon lettering on black panel would both catch the eye and stand out from the other numbers speeding by.

Shame you can't do neon green or yellow on a purple background.

Yellow on purple was what I wanted before I saw that purple is not a background option. The background material is thicker and has a non-permanent adhesive so they don't have as many colors. I guess I could always get a permanent panel and just stick it to a temporary panel cut down to the same size :lol:

^ funny you mentioned that tax issue in the other thread Zillon, waiting for the BMW dealer to call me back on being taxed too much. Its like they've never had an out of state trade in before :iono:

Suspect their service work has been shoddy too so I gotta take it into a local dealer and see what they think. Auto dimming mirror is not working and front of headliner seems loose/flimsy, coincidentally two things they had to touch to replace the windshield.

When I got it, I noticed there was still adhesive from the tape on the roof of the car, after it had presumably been detailed twice. Sloppy sloppy work.
